This is a palace we went to.  Another of Diane's cousins showed us around.  The center door just above Diane's head is where the most "revered/spiritual" Korean king from back in the day kept his spiritual energy.  Then as you became less important, the farther away from the center you were.  There was another area like this for lesser individuals.  The open area we are sitting on was used for spiritual ceremonies and wasn't an open air market like I had thought.  Diane's cousin's friend showed us around as he is getting his Ph.D. in Korean history.  The name of this Royal Ancestral Shrine is Chongmyo.
